Daniel Michael Shore
May 1, 1980 - November 14, 2017
Daniel Shore, of Kansas City, lost his battle with depression on November 14, 2017. A memorial service to honor his life will be held Saturday, November 25th at 11:00 am in the sanctuary at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS.
Danny was a man whose giving knew no bounds, and whose caring for others was without end. He left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew and loved him. To Danny no one was a stranger; his smile and radiant personality would light up any room. He truly had a heart of gold.
Danny was inherently gifted in many ways and once his mind was set, he was determined to accomplish anything, no matter how complex. He was a natural entrepreneur and leader and his purpose always tied back to using his gifts to serve others. Everything he touched transformed the lives of others, whether repairing a car, remodeling a kitchen or driving a group around town to celebrate their life events, Danny gave all he had to others.
At the age of 10, Danny started his own lawn business. He had his own cards and quickly established an extensive book of business. But his work was never done. Over the years, Danny explored different ventures: Remodeling, Seasonal Retail, and Commercial Transportation. His business names included; Brookside Remodeling, Three French Hens (a seasonal Christmas boutique), KC Party Buses (fleet of 11), and D & G Builders. Most recently, he longed for a career change, and his next calling.
Danny was preceded in death by his grandparents Ralph Shore, Charles and Ruth Estes and his aunt, Tina Wilson.
He is survived by his parents: Mike and Gisele Shore, his sister, Michele- her husband Brad and their two children, Addison Levene and Cate Levene. His grandmother, Alwilda Shore. His aunt, Linda Davis- her husband Harry and their children Brian Davis and Shelia Ross. And also his aunt, Sherry Daniel- her husband Bob and her children, James Pemberton and Amanda Pittman.
In lieu of flowers, please echo Danny’s generosity by contributing to his memorial fund. Your contribution will go towards helping worthy causes that were important to Daniel. If you owed Danny money, please pay it forward to help us continue his greatness.
