Daryl E. Warren, 54, passed away in the comfort of his own home on July 4, 2016, with the love of his life Teresa "Terri" Warren.
He was born to the late Dewane and Barbra Warren on December 21, 1961. He grew up in Overland Park, KS. Daryl graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1979. He married Teresa Ann Lilly, May 31, 1986 and they lived together for twenty years in Kansas, before relocating the last ten years in Colorado.
Daryl worked in the forestry department at South Suburban Parks and Rec. since 2008. He was passionate and hardworking about planting and caring for trees and nature. He was looked up to by many South Suburban employees.
He was an avid reader, golfer, runner and cyclist. He spent most of his weekends enjoying the beautiful scenery Colorado has to offer. Daryl joined a Jeep club that provided many opportunities to climb trails, off roading in nature and create life long friendships. He ran 10 races and cycled 5 rides in his lifetime.
Daryl is survived by his wife; Teresa Ann Warren, of Centennial, CO; three children: daughter, Dara Sims of Overland Park, KS; daughter, Courtney Shepherd of Olathe, KS; son, Benjamin Warren of Ottawa, KS; two grandsons; Kane and Chase Shepherd of Olathe, KS and his brother, Lee Warren of Gardner, KS.
