Dave Coleman

Dave Coleman passed away at his home in Tucson, Corona De, Arizona on July 20, 2022.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri in1959 to Ted and Carolyn (Benson) Coleman. He attended Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, KS, graduating in 1977. After high school, Dave attended Benedictine College in Atchison, KS and graduated in 1981 with a BA in Biology. He also was a non-degree graduate student at Arizona State University.

At Benedictine College, he went on a field trip to Arizona; he became inspired by the nature and the great outdoors which fed his sole. Following graduation, he worked in the Kansas City area until 1983 and then made his move to his beloved Arizona.

In 2000 he purchased a home in Tucson, Corona De and had plans to remodel it once he retired.

He leaves behind many friends at Sion Power Corp., as well as his many camping, rafting and hiking companions.

Dave is preceded in death by his father, Ted Coleman.

He is survived by his mother, Carolyn S. Coleman and brother Dan Coleman, both of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by an Aunt Eleanor Murray and an Uncle Bernard Benson and many cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 7th, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kansas
