Mr. David Bolby

David M. Bolby of Kansas City, Mo., passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009, at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline. Born and raised in Kansas City, Kan., Dave graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1936. He was a decorated WW II U.S. Army artillery sergeant. After the military, Dave was a steel worker for Mobil/Exxon for 30 plus years. Dave is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Sutherland; two sons, Tim and Dave, their spouses and children. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at D.W. Newcomer's Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kan. Graveside services will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Mo., on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Kansas City Hospice or American Arthritis Foundation .
