David Driskell

David Dale Driskell of Stilwell, Kansas passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, at the age of 87. Dave joins his wife, Marilyn Jean, and son, Eric James, in the kingdom of heaven.

Dave was born May 30, 1934, in LaCygne, Kansas to Clarence E. Driskell and Gail E. Driskell. He had one younger brother, Gary E. Driskell, who passed away in 2012.

Dave married Marilyn Jean Scott on December 22, 1956, shortly before the couple moved to Germany, where Dave was stationed while serving in the United States Army. Dave and Marilyn eventually settled in Stilwell, Kansas, where Dave made a career as an estimator for Kansas City Power and Light and Capital Electric.

Quick-witted, with a clever sense of humor and a giant heart, Dave will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey (Kim) Driskell, Brian (Teri) Driskell, and daughter-in-law Kari Driskell; his grandchildren, Kristin (Thomas) Hauser, Hank (Jenna) Driskell, Luke (Kaileigh) Driskell, Wyatt Driskell, Rachel Driskell, Laurel Driskell, Angela Halloran, Cecily Zimmerman, Max Zimmerman, Katheryn Halloran and David Campbell; and his great-grandchildren, Theo Hauser, Avani Hauser, Sloan Driskell, Kaidan Perez, Sawyer Zimmerman, and Lily Zimmerman.
