David DuCharme
March 29, 1936 — November 14, 2017
David J. DuCharme 81, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017. He was surrounded by his family who remained at his bedside during his final days. David was born in Kalamazoo, MI on March 29, 1936 and was married to Elizabeth (Betty) Swircinski on June 1, 1963.
David was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth DuCharme (Betty) and sister Betty Jean DuCharme.
David is survived by, his three children and their spouses Joseph (Diane), James (Stephanie) and Lisa (Josh); six grandchildren whom he loved dearly, James, Catherine, Evan, Claire, Audrey and Jack; sister Ann Stevenson and her husband Fred; and brother Joel Gammon and his wife Janneen. David’s family was his number one priority in life. David worked in the insurance industry for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with family watching the Royals and Nebraska Cornhuskers football games.
Visitation will be held Wednesday Nov 29 2017 from 9:30-10:30AM at St. John LaLande Catholic Church in Blue Springs, MO with mass immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Heart of America Chapter).
