Dean Grogger

Dean was born in Topeka, Kansas, to Tom and Elizabeth Grogger. He was educated in Topeka Public Schools, after which he entered the University of Kansas.

His education was interrupted by the Korean War, where he served in the USAF as a pilot.

His most enjoyable professional position was as Senior Mortgage Counselor with Capital Federal Savings.  It was there that he met and married Gloria Findley.

He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Grogger in Denver and his son Jeffrey Grogger, daughter-in-law Laila Rashid, and grandson Miles Grogger in Chicago.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 19, at Country Club Christian Church.  Visitation will be at 1 pm; the service will follow in the sanctuary at 2pm.  The later burial will be private.
