Deanna Pape

On Sunday, February 28, 2021, Deanna “Susie” Pape (nee Stinson) went home.  This is written not because she died but because she lived.

She lived a sweet, kind, loving life of faith and family.  Selfless in every way and always, Deanna was the loving and devoted wife of 48 years to Roger L. Pape who survives her.  Sister of John A. Stinson of Texas who, as well, survives her.  Mother to Melissa S. Pape-Finell and Ryan V. Pape, Grandmother to Zoie, Mya, Leah, Lily, Aiden and RJ, who will miss sleepovers at Grandma’s and an endless offering of love and affection.

Our Matriarch had a unique connection to God, through prayer.  Her prayers were always answered, no matter whom or what she prayed for.

Despite the appearance of a quiet, introspective, and carefree wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law, she possessed an acute sense of the present and an intellect she often denied.  Humble in every way and always, selfless in deed, without judgment or condition.  Deanna shared freely and wholly of herself with loving kindness, unconditionally, with unlimited patience.

Deanna lived the life many aspire to and rarely achieve.  She did so effortlessly.

Her love, kindness and affection will be present forever in the lives of all who knew her.
