with Chaplin James Amos of Good Shepherd Hospice, officiating. Burial will follow.
Debbie was born in Kansas City, Kansas to Clarence and Julie Walker on October 23rd, 1962. She graduated high school at Shawnee Mission North in 1980. She married Louis Sauceda Jr. on June 23rd ,1990 in Merriam, Kansas.
She worked at Synchrony Financial (formerly GE Capital) as a customer service representative for 27 years. She spoke to customers in the kindest and most patient manner. Throughout her time at Synchrony, she was awarded and praised for her hospitality.
Growing up Debbie always had some sort of pets (cats, dogs, birds, etc.) and had a passion for animals. They seemed to love her too!
If you ask any of her friends Debbie made a difference in all their lives. She was the life of the party and often the party was where she was at. She enjoyed attending concerts with her lifelong friends and building lasting memories. There was never a dull moment with Debbie around.
She was a “night owl” and enjoyed talking on the phone…for hours. She also had a habit of spending occasional nights at Argosy Casino and loved her slots. Debbie knew how to have a good time and appreciated the little things in life. She had an obsession for unicorns (if you asked her, she was insistent that they are real) and collected many in a cabinet in her home.
She remained extremely close with her siblings and often worried more about their health than her own. She cherished time with her children and always made sure they knew how much she loved them. She was ecstatic to become a nana and loved her grandbabies beyond measure.
Debbie is preceded in death by former husband; Louis Sauceda Jr., parents; Clarence and Julie Walker, and brother Ricky Walker.
Debbie is survived by two children; Lorenzo Sauceda, Mariah Williams (Tony), two sisters; Vicki Dees, Judy Johnson (John), two grandchildren; Alyssa Williams, Kingston Sauceda, and numerous friends and extended family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Olathe and Good Samaritan of Olathe. The family of Debbie wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Good Samaritan Society of Olathe, to the nurses at Good Shepherd Hospice, and Chaplin James. Your sincerity and care for our mother during this difficult time did not go unnoticed.
