Deborah, "Debbie" Kay Lundberg, age 57 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away at home Friday, February 20, 2009. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM , Saturday, March 07, 2009 at D.W. Newcomer's Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas.
Debbie was born April 19, 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska to Verner and Barbara Lundberg. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas graduating with Highest Distinctions. She received her Master's Degree from Webster University, Kansas City, Missouri, graduating with Honors. Debbie taught for 24 years, specializing in Junior High Math and Science.
Survivors include her parents; brother, James Lundberg of Kansas City, Missouri; sister Nancy Lundberg of Long Beach, California; brother, Steven Lundberg and his wife, Debra of Manhattan, Kansas; sister, Lorri Hatfield and her husband Kevin of Overland Park, Kansas; and eight nieces and nephews.
