Debbie, 59, of the Overland Park, Kansas area, passed from this earth on April 9, 2016. Born July 21, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio to Dave and Marlene (Roach) Rose, she lived most of her life in Overland Park. After graduating from UMKC and the University of Kansas, Debbie was a CPA and auditor for several companies, most notably Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co. in Kansas City. One of the nation’s leading experts on Sarbanes-Oxley, Debbie enjoyed a respected career until health issues hastened her early retirement. Debbie married Wayne King on Oct. 14, 1994 and they shared 21 happy years together. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her brothers David (Susan) and Daniel; nieces Sarah (Chris) and Anna Rose, nephews James, Ethan, Timothy, and Austin, as well as her beloved beagle, Chewy.
