Debra Lynn Engle, age 52, Merriam, Kansas, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at her home.
A celebration of her life will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16th at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, where she was a member, 6422 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas, followed by a gathering of family and friends 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the church. Cremation, private inurnment at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. The family suggests contributions in Debra’s name be made to the church or to the American Cancer Society.
Debra was born February 7, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri and was a lifelong area resident and worked as a legal assistant for the Sexton, Shelor law firm.
She is survived by her son, John Waller, Stilwell, Kansas; parents, Kenneth and Jo Ann Waller, Stilwell, Kansas; brothers, Ed Waller (Robbie), Colorado Springs, Colorado, Gary Waller (April), Higginsville, Missouri; and many other friends and relatives.
