DENNIS EDWIN “MAD DOG” HEWITT
Born June 28, 1951 and passed away October 31, 2015. 59 of his 64 years he lived in the Kansas City area. He was an Eagle Scout. Dennis graduated from the first EMT class at KUMC, obtained a fire science degree from Johnson County Community College and retired as Captain from the Lenexa Fire Department after 24 years of service. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Ruby and George Hewitt and is survived by his sister, Suzanne Hagemann, 2 brothers, George and Harry Hewitt, sister-in-law Vickie Hewitt, 3 nephews, 1 niece and 1 great nephew.
