Mr. Dennis Rogers

Dennis E. Rogers, 68, Olathe, KS, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m., Thursday, February 11, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. A celebration of his life will immediately follow at 10 a.m. at the chapel. Burial in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Children's Mercy Hospital, Cardiac Surgery Department, 2401 Gillham Rd., Kansas City, MO 64108. Dennis was born January 10, 1942, in Wheatland, MO. He was the owner of Prairie Center Plumbing, Heating and Air in Olathe Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Doris Caven; and brother, Daniel Wilson. Survivors include Joyce, his loving wife of 47 years; two children, Rick and wife, Donna, Ronnie and Wife Tammy; five grandchildren, Jason and wife, Brandi, Jamie and husband, Derek, Ryan and wife, Jennifer, Curtis and fiancee, Samantha, and Jessica; and ten great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Lana Gaither, Raytown, MO, and Denise and husband, Cecil Wysong, Prairie Village, KS; and brother-in-law, Norman Caven, Independence, MO; and many other family members and friends.
