Dennis Dean Waters, 64, of Overland Park, KS, formerly of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away on Friday December 11, 2015, at home.
A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am Wednesday, December 16th at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66210. Visitation will be an hour prior.
Dennis loved spending time with his family, fishing, and cheering on his favorite sports teams. His quick wit, warmth, and generosity will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo James Waters, of Council Bluffs, IA. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Dianna; four children, Kelli (Robert) Coulthard of Plymouth, MA, Becci (Tim) Mittelstadt of Alabaster, AL, Carrie (Andrew) Hamilton of Lee’s Summit, MO, Kevin (Emily) Waters of Overland Park, KS; mother, Gertrude Waters of Council Bluffs, IA; eight grandchildren and sister, Linda Lehmer of Omaha, NE.
