Dolores E. "Dolly" Kehrberg

It is with a sorrowful heart that I must announce to both family and friends that my beloved mother, Dolores E. Kehrberg, best known as Dolly, returned home to the Lord on March 7, 2020. She is survived by her only son, Rev. Ernest Pinto (Steve), her Daughter in Law Dora Pinto, and five step children Kirk, Joshua, Denise, Melanie and Kerry. She also had three Grand Children, Joshua, Justin, and Ryan; and three Great Grand Children, Camden, Anthony, and Lelani.  As my mother’s son and her priest, I will be the celebrant of a Memorial service for her at Trinity Anglican Church, 3920 W. 63st, Prairie Village, KS, 66208 on Saturday March 21, at 11:00 AM. My mother Dolly was preceded in death by her husband M.J. Kehrberg, her Mother Isabell Padilla, Father Edward Padilla, Grandmother Ida Padilla, five brothers Margo, Art, Ernie, Edwin, Rudy, and two sisters, Mary, and Francis. My mom spent most of her active life as a homemaker, but took on a serious gardening venture while living in Correll, Minnesota. Much of what was eaten in her home was grown by her. She was a devoted Catholic, and raised her son to know, love and trust in the Lord. I am forever grateful to God for my Mom.  While living in a Independent Living facility, she made many friends and went about helping many of those who could not care for themselves as well as she could. We will all share in missing her presence with us at this time, but we will also share in the joy of being together once again.
