Dominga Fernandez

Dominga Fernandez was born November 24, 1940 in Rio Negra, Argentina. She passed away Friday morning, January 18, 2019 at the age of 78. She moved to the United States at the age of 13 with her adoptive parents, Jose and Maria. Dominga worked in housekeeping at Saint Joseph Hospital where she retired. She also worked in her home as a hairdresser, a seamstress and doing laundry and ironing for others. If you got the chance to see her yard, you know that she was also a master gardener. When we think of Dominga, words such as caring, kind, selfless, love, generous, honest, compassionate and affectionate come to mind. Dominga was a genuine friend to all. She had a heart of gold and was a loving person who would do anything for you. She will be greatly missed.
