Don Bryan

Don Bryan, 81, of Merriam, Kansas died peacefully at home on January 14, 2021.  He was receiving care from Kansas City Hospice for a year by two very compassionate caregivers, Cara Long and Pam Natividad.

Don was born in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Shawnee Mission North High school.  He served in the Air Force for three years, was an iron worker and finished his career with General Motors until his retirement in 1995.  Don was an avid golfer and loved the KU Jayhawks.

He is preceded in death by his sister Mary Frances Bryan, daughter Dawn Betts and grand-daughter Shelby Bryan.

He leaves his spouse of 61 years, Joyce Bryan, daughter Shelly Garver (son-in-law Mike Garver), Son Brad Bryan (daughter-in-law Lisa Bryan), 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kansas City Hospice.

Graveside services will be held at Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, January 20th at 1:00pm.
