Donald Eugene Parks, 62, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away Friday, February 22, 2008.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. A private graveside burial will be held at Fort Scott National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Friends of the Arboretum, PO Box 26147, Overland Park, KS 66225, Attn.: Donald Parks Memorial. Survivors include his wife, Hildegard; daughter, Angela Parks; sons, Thomas Parks and Robert Proctor and wife Jill; and granddaughter, Alexis.
