Donald T. "Tom" Smith, 72, passed away at home on Jan. 4, 2013. In June of 1957, he joined the US Air Force and was honorably discharged in June of 1961. He worked for The Industrial Fumigant Company of Olathe from 1979 until his retirement in 2005.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; Warren R. Smith and Gladys Hennen.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, of 40 years; children; Dara Smith, Darrin Smith, Carly Smith, JoAnna Smith; brother; Warren G. "Jerry" (Diane) Smith; sister; Gloria (Dave) Straughan; and his BFF; Koko Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wed. Jan 9, 2013 at Redeemer Lutheran Church 920 S Alta Lane, Olathe, KS 66061 at 10AM.
