Mr. Donald Winston

DONALD S. WINSTON
Donald S. Winston, the son of Dr. & Mrs. Bernard Winston and the grandson of Max and Tillie Skeer. He went to the Pembroke Country Day School and graduated from the Colorado Academy. He attended the University of Arizona and graduated in the first graduating class of the University of Missouri Medical School. He started the first Medical Clinic in an indoor shopping center in Houston; the first in the United States. He wrote a computer program to run the St. Joseph’s Hospital System in the 1980’s before this was fashionable. He did extensive work in the medical legal field as well on the practice of medicine.
He died September 4, 2010 unexpectedly and is survived by his mother Roberta Winston and his brother Dr. Thomas Winston. Graveside services will take place on Monday, September 13 at 3:00 pm at the Rose Hill Cemetery located at 69th & Troost. He will be missed by his many friends.
