Donna L. Cooper

Donna L. Cooper, age 77, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Friday, November 18, 2011. She was born on April 24, 1934 in Garden City, MO, the daughter of Dottie C. (Sisk) and Harold Gwinner. Donna worked at Avon for 28 years and also at a daycare, having a great passion for children. She also worked part time at Jones Store Salon. Donna was a devoted member of the Heritage United Methodist Church. She will missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Roy, of the home; sons, Mark Wise of Lawrence, Monte Cooper of Olathe, Mitch (Shelley) Cooper of KC, KS; daughter, Vernisa (Brian) Klapmeyer of KC, MO; 1 sister, Dorothy Gough of Raymore, MO; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shirley Surber.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 25, 2011 in Johnson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage United Methodist Church, 12850 Quivira Rd, Overland Park, KS 66213.
