Mrs. Doreen Fitt

Doreen Elizabeth Fitt, 75 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 25th 2010 at Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care. Doreen was born on May 25th, 1934 in Toronto Canada to Fred and Dorothy Leitch. Doreen completed her schooling and was working as an executive assistant when she met and later married Michael G. Fitt. Doreen spent the majority of her life nurturing and raising her three children. She was a loving wife, a compassionate mother of three, a doting grandmother of six and a proud great grandmother of one. She will be greatly missed by all.
Doreen is survived by her husband Michael G. Fitt, children Anne E. Fitt, Colin M-D Fitt , Ian D.G. Fitt and mother Dorothy Leitch.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 30th at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons, Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. A Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday March 29th also at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County location.
