Doris Ann Berry Mulherron, 86, Lenexa, Kansas passed away October 16, 2014. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kansas. A gathering of family and friends will begin an hour prior to service times, also in the chapel. Entombment will follow in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Indoor Courtyard of Memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, a disease affecting Doris Ann’s great granddaughter at www.phassociation.org or PHA, 801 Roeder Rd., Suite 1000, Silver Springs, MD 20910.
Doris was born on April 11, 1928 in Walnut, Kansas to Walter and Viola Berry. She was married to Joseph Eugene Bradshaw in 1946 and together they had three children and lived for many years in Manhattan, Kansas. They were divorced and later in her life she married Col. John B. (Jake) Mulherron, deceased. When Doris had spare time, she enjoyed decorating her home, shopping, bowling, dancing, cruising and spending time with her family.
Doris was preceded in passing by her parents; sister, Dorothy Hunter Beck; cousin, Ava Rinas and niece, Susan Hunter.
Doris leaves behind her three children; Walter (Lynn) Bradshaw of Topeka, KS, David (Cindy) Bradshaw of St. Joseph, MO and Beth Bradshaw of Lawrence, KS; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and niece, Nancy Mallory of Boulder, CO.
