Doris White

Doris Ellen White, 91, of Spring Hill, Kansas, formerly from Lenexa, Kansas, passed away January 22, 2018 at Olathe Medical Center.

She was born October 31, 1926 the fifth of eleven children to William B. and Mrytle E. Neal (Hegenderfer) in Severance, Kansas.  After graduating from Severance High School, she attended secretarial school in St. Joseph, Missouri where she met and married  Billy W. White in 1946, her husband of 53 years.  In the mid 1950”s they settled in Lenexa, Kansas where they raised their family and owned and operated Suburban Printing Company. Doris was an avid homemaker and business partner.  After retiring she enjoyed traveling the United States and wintering in Texas.

Doris was preceded in death by her son Michael L. White (1969) her husband Billy W. White (1999) her parents, brothers George, Warren, Harold, Wayne, William, James Neal and sister Helen Grosfield.Doris is survived by daughters Marilyn (Rick) Sandberg and Cynthia White. Grandchildren Ryan (Megan) Sandberg, Eric (Brooke) Sandberg, Melissa (Bryan) Payne, and five great-grandchildren, her brother Willis Neal and sister Frances Muller, and many nieces and nephews.
