Doris Marie Mayse

Doris was born in Stewartsville, Missouri to Glen B. Winger and Georgia Faye Morgan.

She married her high school sweetheart Elton "Pete" Mayse Jr. on June 21, 1945 at Troy, Kansas.

Together with Pete as a pastor's wife and missionary to the American Indian they traveled all over the Midcentral and Midwest states. She spent her last few years in Ottawa, Kansas.

Doris and Pete had 4 biological children and 4 bonus children. Scott (Debbie) Mayse-Pleasonton KS, Paul (Linda) Mayse-Tightwad- Missouri. Tim (Denise) Mayse-Tonganoxie, Kansas and Becci (Stan) Shisler-Ottawa, Kansas.

Grandchildren: Shannon, Angie, Bryan, Sarah, Amy, Andrea, Jeremy, Alisha, Kyle, Zak, Hannah, and their spouses. 24 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.

Doris had a brother Morris Winger, 3 sister-in laws and 2 brother in laws, Maxine, Doris. Lois, Frank and Bobby. All preceding her in death, except Lois.
