Dorothy A. Davis, 87, passed into rest Friday, August 30 2013, at Lamar Court Assisted Living.
Dorothy was born July 6 1926, in Topeka Kansas. Through her life she pursued many artistic talents, painting, sewing and cake decorating. She was a Professional Floral Designer well into her later years. After retirement, she spent many years of volunteer service at Truman Medical Center East.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert E. Davis, and son-in-law, Michael C. Werning.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Claudia (John) Streit, of Snellville Georgia; Marsha Werning, of Prairie Village Kansas; and Tracy (Lynn) Davis of Olathe Kansas; Grandchildren, John and Amy Streit and Tatiana Stout; and Great Grandchildren, Jack and Maren Stout.
