Dorothy Juergens, 80, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at her daughter's home in Overland Park.
Dorothy was born January 8, 1933, in Huntington Park, CA, to Warren and Marinda Gee. She was a beautiful loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. To our loving mother, she leaves a legacy of joy and laughter that will never fade. We will miss her and she will live in our hearts forever. Cheers to you Granny. We love you, mom.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Gee and her sister, Rita Bauml.
Dorothy is survived by her five children, Marilyn Morgan, Vickie Jones, Bill Cranfill, Sherral Connell and Deanna Cranfill; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and brother, Jack Gee and his wife Vera.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons – Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 2, 2013, at the Johnson County Chapel.
