"Doug" Ransom

Boyd Douglas Ransom died in his home on May 20, 2019 in Kansas City, KS. He was 72.

He was born on June 25th, 1946 in Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Milton D. "Randy" and Mary Ellen Ransom and his sister Mary Teresa (Terry) Shepherd. He is survived by his siblings John M. Ransom (Karen) and Mary Jean “Jeanne” Fletcher, his children Geoffrey Bretton “Brett” (Els) and Mary Katherine “Katie” (Joseph), seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ransom will be taken to his final resting place in Jacksboro,Texas by his loving family. A memorial gathering will take place on June 8th at 3:00 p.m. at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Doug’s life.
