LUCILLE HATHAWAY passed away Saturday, October 20th, at Garden Terrace in Overland Park, Kansas.
Lucille was born January 20, 1924, in Sedalia, Missouri, to Edgar Preston Conard and Nettie Lucille Lindsey. She worked as a secretary for two vice presidents at United Telecom (Sprint) before retiring in 1987.
She was married to Raymon Hathaway on Valentine's Day, 1947.
Survivors include one daughter and two sons, Linda Gabel of Lawrence, Steve (Lisa) Hathaway of Lenexa, and Greg Hathaway of Shawnee. She is also survived by grandsons, Brian Gabel and Michael Hathaway.
The family will receive friends 10 am Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Graveside services and Interment will follow at 11:00 am at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart of America Humane Society, P.O. Box 12703, Overland Park, KS 66282.
