EDWARD THOMAS YEATER, JR.
Edward Thomas Yeater, Jr. of Overland Park, KS passed away on December 17, 2010 at his home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 1-2 p.m., at D. W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Funeral services will start at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation. Burial will follow at the Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Edward was born on April 14, 1939 in Martin's Ferry, OH. Edward served in the U. S. Navy for 25 years and upon retirement he taught Navel Science for Shawnee Mission School District for 20 years. He is preceded in his death by his parents, Audrey Marie Yeater and Edward T. Yeater, Sr. Survivors include his loving wife Blanche Yeater of 51 years and his children Thomas E. Yeater, Suzanne Morris, Connie Oshman-Silkman, Michael Yeater, Robert Yeater and eight grandchildren. Edward was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and will be missed by all. Memorial contributions may be made to Shawnee Presbyterian Church in Shawnee, KS.
