Lowell E. Lang, age 85, died on June 9th, 2013 at Olathe Medical Center.

Lowell was born in Lead, South Dakota, December 15, 1927. He attended High School in Deadwood, South Dakota. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1949, and served four years, one of which was in Germany. He was a good basketball player and enjoyed playing on an Air Force team in the U.S. and Germany. He attended the University of Iowa and received a B.S. Degree in 1956. He then began his career in sales and sales management. He retired in 1987. Lowell loved the Lord with all his heart and was an active member of Lenexa Baptist Church, and a member of the Encourages Sunday school class. Lowell enjoyed golf and all kinds of sports. His highlight in golf was his hole in one. His gift of humor brought joy to everyone.

Lowell was preceded in death by his parents; Clayton and Flora Lang, brother Pat Lang, and sister Shirley Anderson. Survivors include his loving wife Lorna Lang (they had 61 blessed years together), two married daughters that he adored, Kathleen Aulgur and husband Bret Aulgur and Suzanne Abare and her husband Mike Abare. Also, four wonderful grandchildren; Blake Abare, Zachary Aulgur, Kinzie Aulgur, and Kylie Aulgur.

Visitation will be held at Lenexa Baptist Church (see address below) on Thursday June 14th, 2013 at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Lowell's life and heavenly home celebration will be held at Lenexa Baptist Church on Friday, June 15th, 2013 at 2:30 pm. Burial following.
