Gardner, Eleanor Louise, 84, Overland Park, KS, passed away Sunday March 2, 2008 at St. Luke?s South Hospital.
Memorial Services will be 10 AM Saturday, March 8, 2008 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Overland Park Lions Club.
Eleanor was born April 15, 1923 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Otto and Flora (Anderson) Cook. She went to South West High School in Kansas City, MO where she graduated in 1940. She moved to Overland Park, KS in 1959 and was a member of the Overland Park Lions Club where she was a Lioness. She was a homemaker and also worked for Sears Roebuck at Metcalf South for 12 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Gardner, Jr. in 1992.
Survivors include her son, Victor Gardner III of Phoenix, AZ, three grandchildren, Alexandra, Cooper and Grey Gardner, two nieces, Vicki Austin of New Braunfels, TX and Jan Gravino of Tarpon Springs, FL.
