Eleanor I. Nye, age 91, of Ballwin, MO, passed away on July 13, 2011. She was born on June 26, 1920 in Maywood, IL the daughter of Irene (Baak) Everett King. Eleanor was married to Warren Nye and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1999.
Survivors include her daughter, Ginny Nye and her husband, Barry Fox of Ballwin, Missouri; sons William Nye and his wife Cecile of Falls Church, Virginia and David Nye and his wife Susan of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 2 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 9100 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS 66206. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.
