Elinor "Lori" Greenwood

Elinor Lorene “Lori” Greenwood passed away November 6, 2015 at Bridge Haven at Alvamar in Lawrence, Kansas.
Lori was born July 18, 1924 to Fred and Florence “Babe” Angleton in Osawatomie, Kansas. She married William “Bill” Randolph Greenwood July 9, 1948.
She sold real estate in the KC Metro area for over 20 years and worked for the FDIC prior to retirement.
Lori was an avid golfer, loved to go fishing, play bridge and work on her flower garden.
She enjoyed her grandkids and great-grandkids and would remark that they had “kept her young”.
Lori was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother.
She leaves behind a daughter, Marsha (Richard) Nickell, Lawrence, KS, two sons, Randy Greenwood and Jeff Greenwood, both of Overland Park, KS, three grandchildren, Dean (Lauren) Nickell, Castle Pines, CO, Doug Nickell, Lawrence, KS, Jen (Dave) Goodman, Clovis, NM and three great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service, Monday, November 9th, 2015 at 1pm at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS. The family suggests memorials to Visiting Nurses Lawrence Kansas. Online condolences can be made at: http://www.johnsoncountychapel.com/
