Elisa King

Elisa Marie (Tweedie) King passed from this life on July 29, 2021. Elisa was born Nov 2, 1981, to Michael & Glenna Tweedie in St. Louis, Mo.

Elisa was preceded in passing by her dad, Michael, her brother, Matthew, all of her grandparents, Jack & Beverly Tweedie and Stan & Sally Barnes, and her uncle Hugh Barnes.

Elisa leaves with us her husband, Jason King, and her children, who are her greatest legacy; Anthony (AJ) Oubre, Michaela Oubre, Jason King & Jordon King.  She leaves her brother, Jason Tweedie, sister-in-law, Sandra Tweedie and niece, Lochlynn Tweedie.  She leaves her sister, Lauren Tweedie and Lauren’s partner, Neal Dazey, and her mom, Glenna Tweedie.

She leaves uncles Larry & Keith Barnes & their wives, Sandy & Darcy, respectively and her aunt, Kay Barnes and numerous cousins.

Elisa also leaves brothers-in-law Maurice King, Joe King, & Terrell King, sister-in-law, Tiffany King, Auntie JoAnn Pierson, Auntie Olivia Moffitt, mother-in-law, Theola King, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.  Elisa was preceded in death by father-in-law Joe L King Sr. and great uncle Leroy Tostin.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel.  A Service to Celebrate Her Life will be 10am Thursday at the chapel. Private family burial will follow in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.     In lieu of flowers the family request donations to her children’s Education Fund in care of the funeral home.   Please make the check out to Jason King.

Elisa was a kind and loving woman who impacted the lives of everyone who knew her.  She was very proud to be Jason’s (JK) wife and was the best mama ever!  She was a fiercely loyal friend and loved all of her family unconditionally.

We will always remember Elisa’s beautiful smile, her laughter and the selfless, giving way she lived her life.  She touched us all.
