Elisabeth Hallock

Elisabeth A. Hallock, 70, Overland Park, Kansas passed away December 17, 2014.  A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, Monday, December 22, 2014 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kansas.  Cremation will take place and she will be laid to rest next to her late husband in Leavenworth National Cemetery.  In lieu of gifts, memorial contributions are suggested to the Padaeric Michael Hallock Scholarship Fund C/O Johnson County Community College.  Fond memories and condolences for the family may be left at www.johnsoncountychapel.com.

Elisabeth was born on November 10, 1944 in Chapel Hill, NC.  She was married in 1967 to Robert A. Hallock, also in Chapel Hill.  After Robert retired from the Army, they made their home in the Kansas City area in 1978, which is where Robert was from.  In 2009, she retired from Marsh & McClennan after 31 years as an Insurance Broker for the company.  Elisabeth was very passionate about organ transplant and Veteran’s awareness.  She enjoyed spending hours in her garden, going to the theatre with her friends, spoiling her cats, reading romance novels,  collecting Native American art and speaking for the Midwest Transplant Network.  Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, grandchildren, and her many friends.

She is preceded in passing by her husband, Robert S. Hallock; son, Padaeric M. Hallock; and sister, Shirley Alexander Becker.

Survivors include her son, Alexander and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Hannah and Sarah; and nieces, Heidi Becker White and Toni Becker Boswell.
