Elizabeth ?Betty? Kellogg Ehrlich, 88, of Victoria, Kansas died July 15, 2007 at the St. John Nursing Center of Victoria.

Donald Ehrlich, 86, of Victoria Kansas preceded Betty in death on March 25, 2004 at the St. John Nursing Center of Victoria.

Betty was born July 27, 1918 in Manhattan, KS, the daughter of Clarence and Gertrude (Deibler) Kellogg. She grew up in the Manhattan, Kansas area and graduated from the Manhattan Public Schools.

Don was born March 8, 1918 on a farm near Oakley, Kansas the son of Geroge & Bertha (Katzenmeier) Ehrlich. He grew up in rural Oakley area and attended Oakley Consolidated Schools and graduated high school in 1936.

Elizabeth and Donald were united in marriage on August 30, 1940. They resided in Lawrence, Kansas for a short time before moving to the Shawnee Mission area, in the late 1950?s. They were blessed with two daughters named Barbara and Kay and they made their home in Shawnee Mission for over 40 years before moving to St. John Nursing Center in 2002. Betty and Don were lifelong members of the Lutheran Church and were past members of the Hope Lutheran Church in Shawnee, Kansas. Betty worked as a clerk for the Johnson County Water District. Don worked as a machinist for a Research Engineering Company in Overland Park, Kansas for many years until his retirement in 1984.

Surviving family include her daughter Kay Boler of Panama City Beach, Florida; five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Other family preceding Betty in death was her parents, one daughter Barbara Tyson who died on September 11, 2003 and 4 brothers;
Don was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Norman Ehrlich and an infant twin brother.

A memorial service for Elizabeth and Donald has been scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens in the Newcomer?s Johnson County Chapel. Burial of both cremains will follow the service. The Ehrlich family will receive friends immediately following the service.
