Betty J. DuCharme 77, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital with her husband David, her sons Joe and Jim, her daughter Lisa, her son-in-law Josh and her daughters-in-law Diane and Stephanie by her side. Betty was born in Omaha, NE and was married to David on June 1, 1963. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this year. Betty had six grandchildren; James, Catie, Evan, Claire, Audrey and Jack whom she loved dearly. Her family was her number one priority in life. Betty worked from the home for over 50 years. She was a spectacular cook, tended to her gardens each day, and was also very handy when it came to home repairs. Betty enjoyed golf, bowling and loved watching the Royals and Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct 27 from 9:30-10:30AM at St. John LaLande Church in Blue Springs, MO, with mass immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (KC Chapter).
