Elizabeth Hickman

Elizabeth (Lee) Lenore Hickman Elizabeth (Lee) Lenore Hickman, born March 21, 1932, passed away Friday, October 19 in Prairie Village. She was 86.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life Thurs., Oct. 25 at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, 9300 Nall Ave, Overland Park, KS, 66207 with the visitation from 1:00-1:45, services to begin at 2, followed by a reception. Private graveside burial.

Elizabeth (Lee) Lenore Hickman Mathews was born in Rothville, Missouri, to Laura Jean and Oliver Gaines Mathews. While attending the University of Missouri in Columbia she met the love of her life Walter. They married in May, 1954. They have four children. Lee is survived by her daughter Jeri Lyn (Mike) Riley, Lee Anne (Butch) Hataway, Lori (Matt) Keenan, David (Angie) Hickman, her ten grandchildren, Jackson Riley, Justin, Elise, and Evan Hataway, Connor, Tommy (Jenny), Robert and Maggie Keenan, Natalie and Morgan Hickman. Lee is also survived by six Mathews's siblings, brothers Gerald, Robert, Joseph, and Gary, and two sisters, Sue Lauhoff and Laurel Dale. Lee was preceded in death by her husband Walter, her brothers Oliver, Gene and Garrett Mathews and sister Mary Tuttle. Lee was an inspiration to everyone who knew her and dedicated her life to her family.

The family suggests donations in her name to the Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church Grace Endowment Fund.
