Mrs. Elnora (Stryker) Perry

ELNORA M. (STRYKER) PERRY, 88, Blue Rapids, KS passed away Monday, April 29, 2013.
Graveside services and Interment will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Blue Rapids, KS. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at the Kinsley Mortuary, 1006 Broadway, Marysville, KS 66508. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary, RR 1 Box 204, Blue Rapids, KS.
Elnora was born May 4, 1924 the daughter of Alva and Florence (Skelton) Stryker. She grew up and graduated from Blue Rapids High School and attended Ottawa University.
She was united in marriage to William J. Perry, September 15, 1945 and they shared over 49 years of marriage, before the death of her husband on April 11, 1995.
Elnora was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Blue Rapids Library Board. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Russell, Floyd and Ted Stryker; a sister, Frances Stump. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Nancy) Perry of Shawnee, KS and Michael (Rose) Perry of Kissimmee, FL; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
