Emilie Brumit, 23, passed away Friday, July 18, 2008.
Emilie was born August 30, 1984 in Kansas City, MO. She enjoyed politics and had recently graduated from Avila University with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Some of her hobbies included scuba diving, running and yoga. She was an accomplished student, friend, soul mate, daughter and sister and was always focused on other people's happiness. Emilie will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
Survivors include her parents, Sherry and Steve; sister, Pam and best friend, Xavier.
Visitation will be 11:30-12:30 PM, Wednesday, July 23 at DW Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. A celebration of Emilie's life will immediately follow at 12:30 at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Political Science Department of Avila University,
