Mr. Emmitt Graham

Emmitt Lloyd Graham age 77, of Merriam, Kansas, passed away on October 17, 2014 at his home.  Emmitt was born February 11, 1937, in Kansas City, MO.   Emmitt was retired from General Motors after working there for over 30 years .  In his spare time he enjoyed working on his old cars and remodeling the family home until he lost his eye-sight a few years back.   He loves animals especially dogs.  He was a devoted husband and a constant provider for his family.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia E. Graham and his parents Berenice M. and James K. Graham.  Emmitt is survived by his son Emmitt F.K. Graham, his daughter Renee Wolford with her husband Gerald Wolford, his brother Ronald J. Graham and grandson Matthew L. Borders.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on October 23, 2014 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel & Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 on October 24 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice of KC and the Humane Society of KC.
