Erlinda C. Baguyos, born in the Philippines on April 15, 1941, died peacefully at home on April 22,2021. After college graduation, she embraced a teaching career until she married Avelino T. Baguyos, an ordained Episcopal priest (now retired). She became a strong support to her husband's ministry in the Philippines, Singapore and five States in the United States. She did some volunteer work including several years with what is now Breakthrough/Episcopal Social Services in Wichita, Kansas. She and Avelino had been married for 53 years. They celebrated their 50th. Wedding Anniversary in 2017. With her husband, she enjoyed gardening and yardwork as practical forms of joyful recreation. Among her very special and joyful moments in life has been gathering her family and friends at our home until the COVID restrictions. She is survived by her husband, son, Jeremy Baguyos and his wife, Sara, Omaha, Nebraska, Ami Tevis and her husband, Richard, Leawood, Kansas, four grandchildren, Sophia, 16, Charles, 14, Ronin, 10, Alec, 4; older sisters, Dolores Olivo and Carmelita Vegafria and their respective families, several nephews and nieces scattered over the world, and Eleuterio Castro, Jr., younger brother, of Overland Park, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Breakthrough/Episcopal Social Services , 1010 Main Street, Wichita, Kansas, St. Luke's Home Care and Hospice , 3516 Summit Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64111, St. Thomas Episcopal Church , 12257, Antioch Road, Overland Park, Kansas 66213
