Esther Allison

Esther L. Allison, 72, Gravios Mills, MO, passed away Wednesday July 15, 2020.  Esther was born in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in Union, Missouri where she graduated from high school.  She furthered her education by attending and graduating from Warrensburg College with a degree in education.   She taught school for 12 years in the Saint Louis area and then went on to get her master’s degree at Webster University.   She became a word processor and trained adults on computer programs which she loved to do.  She and her husband were involved in many RV organizations and traveled all over the US and wintered in South Padre.   Esther is survived by her husband, Fred Allison; children:  Greg Allison(Meagan), Joseph Allison(Machellee), Bonnie Hock (Greg); two brothers:  Virgil Weideman(Joan), Robert Weideman(Deb); one sister, Nancy Newman(Rockey); six grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Missouri Chapter, 3645 South Avenue, Springfield, MO 65087.
