Ethel DeTrou, who made Oxford, Ohio her home for 48 years, passed away peacefully in Overland Park, Kansas on Easter Sunday, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don, but not before they were able to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends. Born in 1919, Ethel leaves behind two sons, Val and Dean; two brothers, Morris and Mike; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. An avid gardener, Ethel made it her life?s work to leave the world a more beautiful place. She spent her time among us with elegance and grace.
