Evan Paul Simmons, 3 months, Olathe, Kansas passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 at his home. Gathering of family and friends will be 6 p.m., Wednesday, November 7 with a prayer service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. Friends may call on the family one-hour prior to the services at the chapel. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens
Evan was born August 1, 2007 to Michael and Mai Linh Simmons.
We knew Evan was an angel the first time we saw him. His infectious laugh and constant smile touched everyone near him. Three months was too short for this earth, but God needed his angel back. We love you so much Evan. We know we will see you and hold you again someday.
People only dream of angels, we held one in our arms.
His maternal grandmother, Mai Tran, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his parents; loving brother, Mikey; maternal grandfather, Francis Nguyen; paternal grandparents, Mike and Paula Simmons; aunts and uncles, Mai Anh and Brandon Laster, Kelly and John Doll, John and Heather Simmons; numerous cousins, friends, and his pet dog, Scarlett.
