Everett Huntley

Everett Eugene “Gene” Huntley, 84, Overland Park, Kansas passed away Friday November 6, 2015 at KU Medical Center.  Gene was born in Wilder, Kansas in Johnson County to John and Louise (Carter) Huntley.  Gene worked in the telephone industry for most of his life.  Gene was a simple guy who enjoyed life.  He was a member of the National Rifle Association, a member of the Mill Creek Rifle Club and enjoyed going to the shooting range.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 52 years, Karolyn.   Gene is survived by his son, Gary Huntley and his girlfriend Robin; two grandchildren: Miles Huntley, Brad Huntley and his wife Tabetha; two great grandchildren: Kylie Huntley and Madison Huntley; many other relatives and friends.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
