Fannie Mae Braswell

On Thursday, March 2, 2023 “Mother Fannie Mae Braswell” 93 years old passed away peacefully. Mother was born on February 6, 1930, in Eads, Tennessee to the parents of Henry W. and Lillie B. Jones. She was the youngest of 7 siblings and the last surviving child. On November 9, 1946, Mother was married to George S. Braswell, who preceded her in death. From their union are 8 children: Barbara "B-Bob" (Fred) Elders, Vernal S. "Vern" (Jeanette) Braswell, Janet L. "Jan" (Charlie) Canady, Georgia M. "Jo" (Andrew) Childress, Karen J. "Cookie" Walker (Lawrence), Sharon L. "Redd" (Jim) Kohlnhofer, Felix W. "Wynn" (Marietta) Braswell and Nettquetta Y. "Que" (Darrell) Sheppard. There are additional sons, daughters, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nephews, nieces, sister in-law, cousins and loving friends who adored Mother. We are happy for our mother and thank God for His servant. Celebration of Life services will be on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Mt. Sinai MB Church, 2001 Quindaro Blvd. Kansas City, Kansas, Rev. Elijah Clark Jr., Pastor. Visitation 9-11a. Services at 11a. Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
