Faye I. Alexander, age 85, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 25, at D. W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be 10-11 A.M. Tuesday, at the chapel prior to services. Interment, Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, KS. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Kansas City Hospice, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114.
Faye was born on April 20, 1924 in Columbus, Kansas. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Don Alexander in 2004, and her son, Greg Alexander in 1980. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Alexander, Fairway, KS and Sharon Alexander, Fairway, KS; son, Steve Alexander (Susan Lane), Raytown, MO; grandsons, Chris Alexander, Kansas City, KS and Andy (Kristina) Alexander, Springhill, KS; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Madison Alexander; and two sisters, Christine French and Thelma Logan.
